ক্ষমা করো সুধীজন, অনুগ্রহকারী রাজেশ্বর।
কবিতা ছাড়া আমার আর কোনো কণ্ঠস্বর নেই।
আর কোনো কৌশল নেই
নিজেকে জ্বালিয়ে ফের নিভিয়ে দেবার...

লড়ছে যারা ঘাম ঝরিয়ে, পিষছে সেসব তলার শ্রেণী;
আমার ঘরের সকল ছেলে, ধরছে লাঠি বইয়ের আগে
শোষক তোমার প্রতিশ্রুতির, মিথ্যে আশায় স্বপ্ন জাগে-
চাষীর পেটে আগুন জ্বলে, তোমার দোসর খুব সুখেতে
তফাৎ শুধু মরবে এরা, তোমার ভাষণ ফেসবুকেতে!
